Forensic Technical Services:

The company started business examining mobile phones and providing cell site analysis to the Police and Home Office agencies. Our skills and expertise in these areas are still the best in the UK by some considerable margin.

Over the last 10 years we have added to our capability, including PDA and SATNAV forensics to meet the need to examine more complicated portable devices. These devices require a hybrid of mobile phone and computer forensics skills to examine completely and thoroughly.

FTS has a dedicated Research and Development department. From this facility we have developed and implemented our own exclusive forensic software to complement the full suite of validated 3rd party forensic software tools already in use.

These include:

SIMiFOR ®   -  Forensic SIM reading and Cloning Software for GSM, UMTS, CDMA, iDEN and SatPhone SIMs – Assured network denial and true forensic reading of all GSM specified content. Includes support for international SIMs from 42 countries.

iXAM ® - iPhone forensic examination software. Unlike other 3rd party applications this method uses a hardwire USB connection and does not alter the firmware in any way during the imaging process. Thus assuring network denial and the forensic integrity of the data extracted.

HEX RAPTOR™ - Forensic HEX Data Translator. HEX recovery and software translation software used in the M-FILTER® service. Now supporting over 360 handset models and has proven admissibility in UK courts.
